Advocacy workshop on “Rule of Law” in Galle at Sabhoda Hall

This programme is organized with the the support of Right to Life organization. This was held at SAMODA Hall, Dangedara, Galle, on 1st December 2022. 27 participants from various organizations including journalists in the Galle district participated in this program. Mr. Basil Fernando, Mr. Mangala Fernando, and Mrs. Inoma Karunatilake facilitated this programme. The programme aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants in community mobilization and advocacy in terms of the rule of law. All the participants actively participated in the discussion, sharing their own life experiences. Also, participants suggested many suggestions on the rule of law and everyone discussed how to establish those things in society.

In addition, there was a discussion on how to use the information learned from the program in their community and how to get the community interested in this. Also, many people paid attention to the discussion held at the end of the program about the practical use of what each other had learned.
